Grab some speakers or headphones and listen to countless books using your library account.  Most libraries allow you to stream for free using Apps like Libby.


Cut out words and phrases from old magazines or newspapers.  Have kids glue them on to a page and add written words to create a funny short story.


Use Google Assistant to test your child on their multiplication tables.   Just say "Hey Google: 3 times table" and the quiz will begin.

Science & Technology

Using your recyclable odds and ends, create an inventor's box.  Stock it with tape, string and scissors and let your kids build their own simple machines.
