It's a classic question: What would you bring to a desert island?

Rather than limit the list, give your child a chance to scribble down as many things as they can (a sneaky way to encourage more writing!). If they like to draw, they might want to illustrate their choices and then label them. If your child is not yet a writer, let them answer the question using their drawings as their "list".
